Next week our school soccer team will be busy as they finish their season. They will be making up two games that were postponed plus playing in the season ending Jamboree on Friday. The schools Halloween Dance will be held on Thursday,October 25.The dance will be held from 5pm to 7pm in the school gym,with prizes for the best costumes. Admission is $3.00.

The staff and students of Eel Ground School would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving weekend. Our school will be closed Monday for the holiday as well as on Tuesday for Professional Development Day. Students will return to school on Wednesday. School pictures will be taken on Wednesday.
The Grade 7 Provincial Literacy Assessments take place the week of October 22. We ask that all students are well rested and attend school that week for their exams.
This Thursday, October 4, Eel Ground School will be hosting National Sports Day.We will be having a Lacrosse instructor come to our school and will be conducting clinics for Grades 3-8 at the following times: 9:00am-10:15am Grades 3/410:30am-11:50am Grades 5/612:45pm-1:40pm Grade 7!:40am-2:30pm Grade 8Clinics will take place outside at the ballfield weather permitting.
