Eel Ground First Nation School will be holding their Remembrance Day ceremony Friday,November 9th, at 10:30am. It will take place in the school gymnasium and parents/guardians are welcome to attend. A reminder as well that the school will be closed on Monday,November 12th.

We are now into the month of November and with it comes colder weather. We would like to remind parents/guardians to make sure your child is dressed for outside. Students spend their recess outside for 15 minutes when weather permitting and should be dressed appropriately. not only will this help prevent your child from getting sick, bit also they can enjoy being outside.

Lights,camera,action! Tonight the Eel Ground School Drama Club presents the play"The Legend of Halloween Hairy" and the debut of the short film "Class of the Dead". It will take place in the school gymnasium at 6:30pm. Tickets available at the door only and are $7.00.

Our school held a yard sale last Thursday and Friday and it was a great success! We made just over $500.00. We would like to thank everyone who supported this event eith by donating items or purchasing. All money raised go towards school projects.

Our newly formed Home and School Association is selling Cookie Dough s a fundraiser to help with activities at the school. The cookie dough is $10.00.

Eel Ground First Nation School will be closed Monday morning,November 5th, due to a funeral in the community.However, school is open in the afternoon and the bus will begin it's run at 12:40pm. Our scheduled skating time at the Civic Centre will be postponed and hopefully made up at a later date.

Halloween will still be in the air next week in Eel Ground. The school's Drama Club will be presenting "The Legend of Halloween Hairy" on Tuesday,November 6th. Tickets are $7.00 and will be sold at the door. The play will be put on at the School Gymnasium.Come see this original play about a small town that has been terrorized by the monster Halloween Hairy. See how 4 teenagers set out to capture the legend on Halloween night.

Congratulations to our school soccer team. They were at the District's Soccer Jamboree Tuesday and despite the rain had a great day. The team lost to Harkins in their first game, but recorded their first win of the season against Dr. Losier. In the Bronze medal game we lost a tight game to Burnt Church. Coach Hawkes was very pleased with the team's season
