The Student Council held their election last week. Jonah Simon was named President and Angel Romeo was named Vice President. The Council are presently selling tickets for Principal for the Day. Tickets are 50 cents and will be on sale all this week during the noon hour.

Our school willl be holding out Terry Fox Run tomorrow, Friday September 28th. Students and staff will be walking in the morning after watching a video on Terry Fox.
There will be a Student Council meeting today at 12:25pm in Miss.Skidd's classroom. They will be electing a student president and vice president as well as discussing upcoming events. Those interested in joining council are asked to attend.
The school's cross country running team were st St.Andrews School yesterday. The team competed with District 16 in the first meet of the season. Congratulations to Kendra Simoneau who had a top 10 finish as well as several others who finished just outside the top 10. A great job by the entire team!

Due to the recognition of Treaty Day in our province, our school picture day will now be held on Wednesday October 10th. Dewey Photography will be at our school taking pictures in the morning.
On Friday September 28th as part of anti-bullying week in the province, our school will be in the pink! Students and staff of Eel Ground School are asked to wear pink in support of anti-bullying. Show your support in stamping out bullying by wearing pink on Friday.
