The Eel Ground Health Centre will be offering flu vaccines starting on Monday, October 29th. The 2012 flu vaccine will protect against the three influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the season. For more information contact the Health Centre at 627-4664.
They played hard but came up short. Our school soccer team lost to Millerton yesterday 6-3. goal scorers were Bradley Denny, Jonah Simon and Julian McCormack. Keenan Simon had a strong game in goal. The team travels to Harkins for a game on Thursday.
Those students that returned their Permission Forms signed for diabetes testing will be tested tomorrow,Tuesday October 23 at the school. Permission Forms will be sent out today and need to be returned, signed, tomorrow in order for the testing to take place.

The Eel Ground First Nation School Drama Club will be performing their play "The Legend of Halloween Hairy" Tuesday Nov 6th at 6:30pm. It will take place in the school gymnasium. The night will also mark the debut of the movie "Class of the Dead", made last June by the Grade 7-8 class and Mr Canistro.Tickets will be available at the door only and are $7.00.
Next week our school soccer team will be busy as they finish their season. They will be making up two games that were postponed plus playing in the season ending Jamboree on Friday. The schools Halloween Dance will be held on Thursday,October 25.The dance will be held from 5pm to 7pm in the school gym,with prizes for the best costumes. Admission is $3.00.
