A few weeks ago we crowned our Battle of the Books Winner and today the kiddos received a copy of their own - "Don't Push the Button" by Bill Cotter. Great Job K4!

Today's Messy Monday was a lot of fun. To ring in Day 1 of Winter Carnival festivities, today we celebrate with balloons, a lot of balloons, 100 to be exact to mark our 100th day of school. However, it's always good to have a few spares, expect I ran out of air, is there another way to blow up a balloon?

It's been a couple years, however, this year, I've decided to bring back Team K4s annual, Battle of The Books. For the month of March, we will read a selection of books, vote on our favourites until we crown a winner. There can only be one, who will beat them all?

Friendly reminder that there is no school on the upcoming Monday due to it being Family Day. Also, upon our return on Tuesday, Feb. 20th, it will be a skating day. Please contact Mrs. Sweezey ASAP & let her know if your kiddo is participating. Happy Family Day.

FYI K4 families, a Gastro bug is in the building & on our wing of the school. Some observable symptoms we are seeing in our kiddos is diarrhea, cough, sore throat, and lots of boogers.

Another messy Monday done and lots of interesting observations. This day we made lava lamps with oil, water, food colouring, and alka seltzer tablets.
