The Eel Ground First Nation School's Drama Club will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner at the Band Hall on Friday, April 5th.It will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.Cost is $6.00 a plate with all money raised going towards the Drama Club's trip to the Provincial Drama Festival in May. We thank you for your support.

The girls volleyball team will try to make it three wins in a row today! They travel to Dr. Losier Middle School for a game after school. We wish them luck!

On Nov 1, 2007 the United Nations called for one day each year to be designated as World Autism Day. On December 18,2007 the UN General Assembly designated April 2nd as World Autism Day. What is World Autism Awareness Day? It is a day that aims to increase people's awareness about persons living with autism spectrum disorder,especially children living with autism. It is a day to celebrate the unique talents and skills of persons living with autism and it is a day when individuals with autism are welcomed and embraced in community events around the world.

We would like to congratulate Brittany Simon in being the first person in the school to get a Silver medal in Mathletics. In order to receive 5 bronze.Mr.Hawkes and Ms.Larry have sent out a challenge to all the students. Whomever reaches the gold level first wins $50.00 and there will be two $20.00 prizes and a $10.00 prize.

The winning continues! Our girls volleyball team defeated Blackville 4 sets to 1. The girls started the year with a win over NSER. they will be in action next Wednesday when they travel to Dr. Losier.

With April almost here, we can look forward to warmer temperatures and new activities at Eel Ground School. Our girls volleyball team have started the season with a win over NSER and our Drama Club has started rehearsals for their play they will be performing at the Drama Festival in Fredericton. Archery will be starting in mid April and the GIRLS and BOYS days for grades 6,7 and 8 will be April 10th and 11th.

This Thursday, March 28th, will be Parent Teacher Day at Eel Ground First Nation School. It will be held from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 3:30pm. Report Cards will be handed out at the Parent Teacher meetings. If you cannot make it during that time, you can call your child's teacher and set ip an appointment. Hope to see you there on Thursday!
