The 2015 CUTE Award Finalists have been announced for Anglophone North School District. Natoaganeg School received 2 nominations. Congratulations to Mrs. Dunnett and her Grade 4 students who were nominated in the 21st Century Learning Elementary category for their project "Our Resources Ourselves-Promoting LifeLong Learning. Mr. Canistro's Movie class were nominated for their project"Dawn of the Bread" in the Digital Video Category. The CUTE Awards will be held on March 18. Good luck to our nominees!
No school today, doors will open tomorrow for the new school . Skating will be cancelled tomorrow and school will be finished at 2:00pm for Clara Larry's funeral.

Eel Ground students will be having an extended March Break. Due to some last minute details that need to be addressed, the opening of the new Natoaganeg School will be on Monday, March 16th. The time missed will be made up throughout the year. There also will be a bus running starting Monday as well. We apologize for any inconvenience but share in your excitement of the opening of our new school. Parents and students are welcome to come view the new school during our open house on Frday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Eel Ground will be without a school bus for the next few weeks. The bus is currently under repairs and parts are on order. Because of this, students at both Eel Ground First Nation School and the High School will need to find their own transportation. If you can help others who do not have a drive, it would be greatly appreciated. We will update you as soon as we get more information.
The new school although close to completion is not yet ready for students on Monday. Teachers and staff will be continuing to move supplies and organize the new classrooms on Monday and Tuesday. For this reason the school week will not begin for students until Wednesday.March 11th. We will update soon about the bus situation as well.
