This Friday take a step back in time. Our Grade 7 Class recently took part in the District Heritage Fair and will be displaying their projects at our school. The public is invited to view their work from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. The projects included such topics as Aboriginal sports figures, the Burct Church Fisheriy Dispute and veterans from our community. The girls volleyball team will be heading to Moncton this weekend for a tournament. They will be participating in the Jack Lawson Cup, an 80+ team event at the Moncton Agrena sportsplex. If you can't make it down, Bell Aliant will be webcasting the entire tournament online at:communityone.bellaliant.ca
There will be a huge yard sale this Thursday, May 14th at the old school gymnasium. The sale will take place from 9am to 5pm and will be a one day sale only. Everything is priced to sell. Hope to see you there!

Natoaganeg School students are going for 42! This week students started the Mango intiative of walking 40 kms from now until June 12th. They will receive colourful shoe tags to mark their progress. On Sunday, June 28th at 11:00am, students are encouraged to participate in the mango Kids Fun Run which will complete the last 2.2kms . Registration forms have been handed out to the students and the run takes place at the Lindon Rec Centre.
The Miramichi Track and Field Club will once again be offering the Run, Jump, Throw 12 Challenge series. For this series, youth aged 5 to 12 are invited to participate in 4 evenings of 12 Challenges which are planned for Mondays-May 11.18, 25, June 1st and a final meet on June 12 at the James M Hill Track.
