L/A - Complete the work on defining vocabulary using context clues. Math - Complete the sheet on finding the area of a rectangular prism. Start thinking about what "day" of Christmas you want to create for our Christmas concert.  Also, we may or may not be looking for a yuletide donkey.  Hee Haw  Hee Haw.

Math - Finish the sheet on area of 2-dimensional shapes (triangles and circles). L/A - work in your writer's notebook for 15 minutes, continue what you began in class.  Make sure you date the new material so that you can get a homework mark.

Students have access to calculators in class to work on math lessons.  They should use calculators to complete this at home as well.  They will be expected to use calculators efficiently on the assessment at the end of the year, so I encourage them to practice now. Please let me know if a student does not have access to a calculator at home.

L/A - begin working on your novel study project.  You should have chosen three tasks.  Get ready to begin working on these tasks during class tomorrow. Math - Be ready for a quiz on solving equations using the distributive property tomorrow. Remembrance Day Ceremony is scheduled for 1pm.  All are welcome.
