We welcome any help June 10th and 12th from 9:00am to 12:00pm and from 1:00pm to 2:30pm both days as we plant the two gardens at the Rising Sun and at Lloyd Ginnish's property across from the school.There will be a barbecue both days at 12:00pm at the school Thank you for your support!
End of the year Field Trips have been finalized and will be as follows:June 10th: K5 to Grade 2 to Magnetic Hill Zoo, bagged lunches will be provided please make sure students are dressed for the weather and are wearing sunscreenJune 11th: Grades 5-8 will be going to French Fort Cove for Geo Caching at 9:30am followed by a Barbecue at the school and a softball game vs teachers.Wear sunscreen and dress for the weather!June 12th: Grades 3-4 will be going to Middle island at 9:30am. There will be a information session on our school's Nutrition Policy on Wednesday, June 5th and Thursday June 6th. It will take place during school hours.

Warming up prepares your body physically and mentally for exercising, and also helps prevent injuries. If you are going for a run, you can warm up with some light jogging followed by some stretching. So lace up your sneakers, “warm up”, get a friend and go for a run. It’s Go for 42 time!

On Friday,June 1st we will be having Tacky Tourist Day. All students and staff are encouraged to dress up as tacky tourists. There will be prizes and many great laughs.
This weekend the City of Miramichi will be hosting the Tall Ships Festival. All weekend there will be ships to board, Theodore the Tugboat will be here, as well as fun for the whole family at both waterford green and the wharf in Newcastle!http://www.miramichitallships.ca/schedule/
Community Event in Aid of AutismPosted May 23, 2013The Miramichi Fusion Festival, a family based community centered event, with free admission, will be held Saturday, June 8th at the Golden Hawk Centre, Miramichi East, beginning at 8:30 a.m. A wide variety of events is offered and the day promises to be a good deal of fun for the whole family. Funds raised will be donated to Autism Resources Miramichi. See poster attached below for more details.Miramichi Fusion Festival 2013
