There will be a Meet and Greet for parents and teachers on Monday, September 16th. It will be held from 3:30pmpm to 4:30pm at the school. It's a great chance for you to meet your child's teacher and our new Principal, Mrs. Bernard Ward. We hope to see you there!
Here's what is happening this week at Eel Ground First Nation SchoolMonday, September 9th- Lunch will be homemade chicken noodle soup with a roll and orange wedges This week the K4-Grade 4 will have morning recess in the gym and the Grades 5-8 will be outsideTuesday, September 10th-Lunch will be mmeatloaf and mashed potatoes with peas and carrots sign up sheets are posted for those interested in doing the morning messages.
Hard to believe but the first week of school is almost over! There are many changes this year at Eel Ground First Nation School. We have a new principal, Mrs. Helen Bernard Ward. Three new teachers, Miss Megan Flower who is teaching Grades 5-6, Mrs Jessica Dunnett, who is teaching Grades 6-7 and Miss Tessy Taylor who is our new Physical Education and Health teacher. We also welcome back Miss Bev O'Leary our new K-4 teacher and Mrs. Sara Cooper a new Educational Assistant. Miss Kara Cooper is now our Grade 3-4 teacher and Mrs. Serena Harris who is now our Grade 1-2 teacher.

The instructional day is from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Please do not drop off students at the school before 8:15am, as there will be no supervision.No student wil be allowed beyond the school lobby prior to 8:15am.
September is creeping up and it will soon be back to school time. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 3rd. Can't wait to see all of you again!
