Monday, February 3rd-Lunch today is Hearty beef Barley Soup with a roll and sliced fruit plate Boys basketball:Eel Ground at Harkins at 3:30pmTuesday, February 4th-Lunch today is Sweet and Sour Meatballs with brown rice and tossed salad     Skating at the Civic Center at 8:40am  Beading class at 2:30pm  Art class with Miss Johnston from 2:30pm to 4:00pm  Grade 3-5 boys basketball practice after school Wednesday, February 5th-Lunch today is open faced chicken sandwich with peas and carrots        Thursday, February 6th-Lunch today is Pasta Bake with Fruit Salad

Due to the weather conditions, our Family Literacy Night scheduled for tonight, will be rescheduled to Friday morning at 10:30am. Parents and families are invited to attend Friday morning as there will be games and prizes with light refreshments. We hope to see you there!

Tips for Keeping Snacks Safe:Always wash hands before preparing or eating a snack. This is the one of best ways to prevent food spoilage and contamination. Wash all fruits and veggies under cold running water. Clean all lunch boxes, thermal bags, plastic utensils and containers in hot soapy water.

Keeping the drinks in snacks healthyDid you know that fruit drinks, pop, and sports drinks usually contain lots of added sugar, very few vitamins and may contain caffeine? For example, one 700ml bottle of sports drink has 10 teaspoons of sugar – the same amount in one can of pop. These are not considered healthy beverage choices.
