Are you a student, parent or community member that visits a teacher's website on a regular basis? If you answered yes, then this is for you. We are excited about a change that we have made to the Teacher Website category this year for the 2014 CUTE Awards. We are asking students, parents or community members to nominate a teacher who effectively uses their teacher website to engage with the world outside their classroom. Pink Shirt Day across Canada is Wednesday February 26th. Pink Shirt Day originated in Nova Scotia when two students organized the day to protest against bullying in their school. They distributed pink shirts to all of the boys to wear in empathy with a boy who was being bullied. The day has grown over the years and now we are all asked to wear pink on this day to help stop bullying. A number of schools in ASD-N are marking this day, on or about Feb. 26th. On-going anti-bullying campaigns are conducted throughout the school year in many schools. For more information visit PINK SHIRT DAY.
