Eel Ground First Nations School will be closed Monday morning due to a death in the community. The school bus will be picking up kids 12:25 and classes will begin at 12:45.  

The world is observing the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic and our Grade 5-6 class is presently studying about the great ship. Mr. McKay and his class are reading books,doing worksheet activities, watching video clips and having discussions about the famous ship. The students are very interested in this study.

 We have a chance to have four lacrosse teams come to the Fredericton area and put on exhibition games, after the games they will be putting on clinics for the youth to show them how to throw the ball, catch the ball and basically get them interested into the game of lacrosse. Kelvin needs to know who is interested in bringing youth to this event, it will be taking place on May 6th (notification of the arena will be placed at a later date). Kelvin also need to know who is interested in coaching and how many.. 

The grade 7-8 class will be traveling to N-B-C-C Wednesday April 11th. The students will be visiting the animation department at the college and will get a first hand look at how it works and some of the great animation that has been produced by students of the program.
