Fall is such a fun time to be outside because the environment around us is changing daily, the cooler temperatures makes rigorous play more comfortable, and there is so much to see and explore.
Last week we had some chilly days due to the wind and the kiddos felt the change in temperature on their fingers and head. Luckily we had mittens and a selection of hats to give to those who wanted them. As the season progresses we will continue to have daily discussions with the children about dressing properly, discovering our comfort zone, and regular check-ins with our trusty thumb-o-meter - are you comfortable? Cold, warm, inbetween? how can we make you feel better?
The K4 program is also looking for clothing donations to stock our outdoor classroom closet. Having extra items on hand for the children helps ensures that everyone is comfortable and ready for the events of the day. Your donation will be greatly appreciated :)
