Every Child matters/Orange T-shirt day grew from the story of one child, Phyllis (Jack) Webstad, whose grandmother gave her an orange shirt to wear at St. Joseph Mission Residential School. On her first day at the school, the shirt was taken away, never to be seen again. Gone, too, was the child’s sense of dignity and self-worth.
The first day of school is Tuesday September 5th. Breakfast is served from 8:05 to 8:25. Classes commence at 8:30 am. If your child arrives after 8:30 they must be signed in by a parent at the main office. We are looking forward to a successful school year!
On Friday May 5th students in grade 5 to 8 are encouraged to participate in the UNB robotics workshop being held at Natoaganeg School from 9am to 4 pm. Lunch will be provided.
The school season of volleyball is coming to an end. The Natoaganeg Eagles have played a sensational season and we are looking forward to hosting the jamboree. The middle school girls jv jamboree is scheduled to take place at MVHS on Tuesday, May 9th at 4pm.
