Congratulations to the first graduating class of Natoaganeg School. Seven Grade 8 students will be heading to high school next year. Natoaganeg School has entered the TSN/Kraft Project Play contest. The contest is helping to build a better future by building better places to play;because stronger communities start with better places to play. The grand prize winner will receive $250,000 for their recreational facility upgrade and the three secondary prize winners will each receiv $25,000 towards their recreational facility upgrade. Our school will attempt to win the prize money and put it towards a soccer field with a walking track on the perimeter for use by our students and the community.

Our school bus will be out of service for the rest of the year. The bus broke down this morning and it will take 4 to 6 weeks for the new part necessary to fix the problem to arrive. For the time being, students will be have to find their own way to and from school.We are working on alternative transportation and hope to come up with a solution. Please if you can help other students with drives it would be greatly appreciated. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation and support!
There will be an evening of music, poetry, storytelling and humour at our beautiful Netoaganeg School cafeteria next week! Students, Teachers and Communitity members will be displaying their talents on stage this Tuesday, June 9th at 6pm. Refreshments of tea coffee and baked goods to snack on will be available. Hear Paula Foley, Mr Champagne and many more on stage this Tuesday evening!
