The Eel Ground Eagles were in Blackville on Tuesday for an Elementary Soccer matchup. The Eagles started strong in this contest but had a difficult second half. Blackville scored some highlight reel goals and ultimately came out on top by a 9-3 score. Piel Ward and Preston Francis split the duties in nets for Eel Ground and they both did a great job. Marcus Martin scored two goals for the Eagles with Rodney Hanifan adding the third goal.On Thursday, the Eagles took on Harkins Elementary. In a hard fought, back and forth battle, Harkins came out on top by a final score of 4-1. Rodney Hanifan scored the lone goal for Eel Ground. Kohen Simonson and Cameron Ward both played well in net for this match.The Eagles return to action this Tuesday when they visit Gretna Green School in Douglastown.
