Sign up sheets are up in the gym for soccer for Grades 3-5. The first practice will be held Thursday, September 17th after school. The coach will be Mrs. Dunnett and she looks forward to kicking off the season with a home game next Tuesday against Harkins. Come cheer on the Eagles!

The first day of school for all students will be Tuesday, September 8. We hope everyone enjoyed their summer and look forward to the first full year at our new school. See you on Tuesday!!

Tomorrow, June 17th, there will be no school for students. Natoaganeg School will be having it's official Grand Opening. Due to the number of dignataries that will be attending, it is an invitation only event. Students will return to school Thursday and Friday morning we will be hosting our Awards Day at 10am at our school and it is open to the public.

Congratulations to the first graduating class of Natoaganeg School. Seven Grade 8 students will be heading to high school next year. We would like to recognize last night's award winners:Roger Augustine Award for top academic student: Gail HanifanLittle Wil Award for school spirit  : Taylor SimonJohn Hawkes Memorial Award for dedication and perseverance: Kristen Hamilton Ward  To quote Mr Hawkes; "I expect the very best from my family doctor, my mechanic and my garbage collector. Natoaganeg School has entered the TSN/Kraft Project Play contest. The contest is helping to build a better future by building better places to play;because stronger communities start with better places to play. The grand prize winner will receive $250,000 for their recreational facility upgrade and the three secondary prize winners will each receiv $25,000 towards their recreational facility upgrade. Our school will attempt to win the prize money and put it towards a soccer field with a walking track on the perimeter for use by our students and the community.
