We would like to thank everyone who has come out and supported our sports teams in our new school. The atmosphere has been super and good sportsmenship has been exhibited by everyone. The students are appreciating all the support you have shown. One problem that has arisen is that are people running around the school hallways while the games are going on. These games are being played after school and during this time, our custodians are cleaning our school for the next day of classes.

It was the girls volleyball team's home opener and the Natoaganeg Eagles made sure everyone went home happy. The girls defeated Dr. Losier Knights in 5 straight sets before a loud and proud crowd. The girls have now won 10 straight sets to start the year following their 5 set win over Nelson Rural. The girls next game is against harkins Middle next week.
Natoaganeg Elementary and Middle School basketball teams will be hosting their first home games of the year. The Elementary team will be hosting Metepenagiag at 3:30pm today and the Middle School team will host Esgenoopetij after the first game. Come cheer on the Eagles!
Congratulations to Landen Doyle and Marcus Martin for winning the Tim's card to treat their parents at TIM HORTONS for a donut and a coffee in appreciation of getting them to school on time. The Nataoganeg Middle School Eagles Basketball team played their first game of the year. The mixed team played in Esgenoopetitj and picked up a victory in their debut. Eric Paul and Lindsay Milliea had big games for the Eagles. Next week the two teams will play at our new school as well as the elementary team who will be facing Metepenagiag
The Grade 8 class are going to make someone's Easter a good great one! they are fundraising for their end of year trip by selling tickets on an Easter Basket. The basket is valued at over $50.00 dollars and tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00 and available at the school office or any member of the Grade 8 class. They thank you for your support!
