From here on out, the school year will fly by.  We have plenty to keep us busy in the cold winter months. First off, we will review our school's code of conduct and then move on to our content. For writing, we will continue drafting and revising memoirs.  We will also evaluate other samples of student writing to get a better feel as to what is expected on assessments. For reading, we will continue with our unit on Future Worlds with some articles and short stories before we dive into our book clubs.  After that, we will be jumping back into The Hunger Games. In Social Studies, we will start a unit on different cultures. In math we will continue to look at surface area and make our way to volume. Be sure to get plenty of rest - we're going to be busy! As always. homework will be posted here daily.
